About L'Élite — Fine Dining Theme

Odoo's website builder is capable, and almost every theme built on it looks like a theme built on it. For a restaurant, where the website is the first impression and the aesthetic is the product, that is disqualifying.

L'Élite ships as two modules — the theme, and an e-commerce bridge that auto-installs alongside Website Sale. Eight pages (home, menu, about, gallery, wine cellar, reservations, contact, legal) are built as native QWeb templates and SCSS from custom mockups rather than adapted from an existing template.

The constraint that shaped everything: it has to stay editable. Around twenty-five snippets are reorderable and duplicable from Odoo's builder, so the design survives the owner changing their opening hours without calling a developer.

Reservations post directly into Odoo's CRM as leads, which took custom JavaScript to work around Odoo's own form handling. A booking that only sends an email is a booking someone forgets.

Sold under proprietary OPL-1 licensing with a branch-per-Odoo-series release strategy and a self-hosted live demo.
